The first time I bred Stella I was hoping for a daughter out of her but instead she had a whole litter of boys..."The Boys of Summer". To an extent I believe that things happen for a reason... I believe "Dash Riprock" is the reason Stella didn't have any girls...I would have missed out on him as I would have kept a girl puppy. Sadly Dash was taken from us too soon but during that time he surpassed all of my my expectations! I am sure glad Stella didn't have any girls in her first litter!
"Dash Riprock" was the first AMERICAN/CANADIAN Champion for his sire & dam & the first homebred Champion for Summer Boxers (Reg'd). Dash achieved his Canadian Championship at 8 months of age. Along the way to his Championship Dash was awarded 3 Best Puppy in Group & a Best of Breed. His second day out as a Canadian "Special" Dash became a Multi-Best of Breed winner & was awarded a Group placement. By the age of 10 months Dash became a Multi-Group placer & Multi-Best Puppy in Group winner (7 in total). By 2 years of age Dash was a Multi-Best In Show & Multi-Group Winner in Canada, he became the #4 Boxer in Canada in 2003 (#1 Male Boxer in Alberta) in just 12 weekends of showing (before losing him suddenly to cancer) breeder/owner handled!
Dash completed his American Championship with 3 Majors, including a 5 point Major at the American Boxer Club (ABC) 2002 Regional Specialty, at just barely 2 years of age with limited showing in the U.S.A. Dash was handled to his American Championship by his very special friend Lori McClain (MaxL Boxers).
Dash also completed 8 weeks of 12 week Novice Obedience class before he became ill. Dash was awarded a Novice Obedience Certificate after his death.
"Dash Riprock" was characterized by judges & Boxer breeders
as being very "Boxery", "Full of Fire" and a "Stallion"
of a dog. He was all that and so much more!
