WHAT'S NEW in 2022?

DECEMBER

-19- a "Mr. Spock" daughter, "Zelena" - Ripn T's N Naja's Summer Enchantress had her first baby from a frozen semen breeding in Oregon, USA. Litter information and photo can be seen on our PUPPIES page.

 -5- TWO exciting litters were born today!  First, in the USA, a frozen semen litter sired by a "Dash Riprock" son "Dakota" - CH DC's Stone's Throw To Summer and second in Canada, a litter out of a "Maynard" daughter "Harlow" - Faberly N Pengall's SummerSun.  Litter information and photos can be seen on our PUPPIES page. 


-4- TWO "Maynard" daughters had a good day at the Greater Clark County Kennel Club show in Ridgefield, WA, USA. First,  "Lively" - Am GCH/Can CH Mephisto N Top Knotch XOXO Gossip Girl won Select Bitch with her Breeder Owner handler Cheryl Emerson (Top Knotch Boxers) and "Fancy" - Can CH. Top Knotch N Mephisto Fancy That!, SCN ORT went Reserve Winners Bitch handled by Tiffanie Coe under judge Mr. Wayne Morris Thompson. Lively is co-owned by Michelle Yeadon & Fancy is co-owned by Cheryl Emerson. These girls are out of MBISS Am GCHB/Can GCH. Mephisto N Toprank Oooh LaLa and co-bred by Michelle Yeadon (Mephisto Kennels).


NOVEMBER


-20- a "Maynard" daughter, "Lively" - Am GCH/Can CH Mephisto N Top Knotch XOXO Gossip Girl (ex. MBISS Am GCHB/Can GCH. Mephisto N Toprank Oooh LaLa) showed at the Whidbey Island Kennel Club show in Monroe, WA, USA with her Breeder Owner handler Cheryl Emerson (Top Knotch Boxers) and won Best of Breed under judge Ms. Honey Glendinning and Owner Handled GROUP 1 under judge Ms. Janice McClary!!! Lively is co-bred and co-owned by Michelle Yeadon (Mephisto Kennels).

-19/20- What a great weekend for a "Maynard" daughter, "Pepper"- MBBPIS Bassanova Fire and Ice (ex. BIS RBIS BISS CH Bassanova's All About Sansa) in South Africa.
On Saturday at the Pretoria Kennel Club show under judge Mr. Gerhard Schultz Pepper won Best Puppy in Breed, Reserve CC, Reserve Best of Breed and Puppy Group 3!
On Sunday at the Jacaranda Kennel Club show under judge Ms. Natasha Baxter, Pepper won Best Puppy in Breed, Challenge Certificate Best of Breed and Puppy in Group 2 at just 9 months of age!!! Pepper was Breeder/Owner handled by Shaun Graham (Bassanova Boxers).

-18/19/20- our Rat Terrier boy, "Marvin" - GCH Clarity's Kaboom of Summer, RATI SD-S-SP won Best of Breed all three days under judges Mr. Thomas Alexander, Mr. Grant Townsend & Dr. Gail Forsythe and a GROUP 3 on Saturday under Mr. Grant Townsend all owner-handled by me at the Lethbridge & District Kennel Club shows in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.  Marvin achieved his NEW GRAND CHAMPION title on Saturday! Marvin was bred by Rachel Jesse (Clarity Kennels).

-11/12/13-  a "Maynard" daughter, "Lively" - Am GCH/Can CH Mephisto N Top Knotch XOXO Gossip Girl (ex. MBISS Am GCHB/Can GCH. Mephisto N Toprank Oooh LaLa) showed at the Elsie Murray Canine Centre Society shows in Chilliwack, B.C.,Canada. Lively won Best of Breed all 3 days with her Breeder Michelle Yeadon (Mephisto Kennels) under judges Ms. Vickie Unmpleby, Ms. Nancy Simmons & Ms. Yvonne Savard. Lively also won a Group 4 the first day and made the cut in Group the last 2 days with her Breeder/Owner handler Cheryl Emerson (Top Knotch Boxers).

-13- a "Maynard" daughter, "Ruby" - UCH Lee's Summer Precious Gem (ex. Howdi's Bae Lee Swirl) went Reserve Winners Bitch under judge Ms. Anne Felske-Jackman at the North Country Kennel club show in Syracuse, NY handled by our dear friend Donna Schafer (DC Boxers). Ruby is bred and owned by Tina Stock (Lee Boxers).

-11/12- I had a fun two days playing "sniffy" games with my "Maynard" daughter, "Tilde~" GCH Faberly's Key To Summer, CD SD-S-SP SD-A-SP2 RATI & my Rat Terrier, "Marvin" - CH Clarity's Kaboom of Summer, RATI SD-S-SP.
Friday we attended a Barn Hunt Association (BHA) trial at Prairie Dog Sports in Lacombe, AB & Tilde~ got her 2nd Q towards her Barn Hunt Novice (RATN) title under judge Ms. Chris Benishin with a 3rd place!
Saturday, we attended the Sporting Detection Dogs Association (SDDA) Boneyard and 100 Box Challenges in Wetaskiwin, AB judged by Maree Okabe. They had to search 5 rooms in 5 minutes and search 100 boxes containing 15 hides & 5 distractors in 5 minutes! Tilde~ found the hides in 3 rooms but I missed calling 2 of her indications! She then went on to finding 7 of the boxes with hides and Marvin found 6! Both timed out but they searched well! Very proud of both my dogs! Looking forward to more "sniffy" games next year!

-12- Congratulations to Karalyn  and her "Mr. Spock" daughter "Kandy" - Katandy's Sweet Kandy Kiss, CGC TKP (ex. Am CH. Katandy's Kiss In The Moonlight) who won FIRST place in her age group for handling in the 2022 AKC National Trick Dog Competition for Juniors. "Kandy" was bred by Lee Morris (Katandy Boxers). WAY TO GO TEAM KANDY!!

-6- a "Maynard" daughter, "Fancy" - Can CH. Top Knotch N Mephisto Fancy That!, SCN ORT (ex. MBISS Am GCHB/Can GCH. Mephisto N Toprank Oooh LaLa) completed her National Association of Canine Scent Work (NACSW) Odor Recognition Test (ORT) with her owner handler Kerri Carter and co-owned by Cheryl Emerson. Fancy was bred by Michelle Yeadon (Mephisto Kennels) & Cheryl Emerson (Top Knotch Boxers).

OCTOBER

-31- a "Maynard" son, "Jax" - Lee's Summer I Know Jack (ex. Howdi's Bae Lee Swirl) earned his Canine Good Neighbor (CGN) title today with his owner Melissa Mitchell! GOOD BOY Jax!
Jax was bred by Tina Stock (Lee Boxers).

-29/30- a "Maynard" daughter, "Lively" - Am/Can CH Mephisto N Top Knotch XOXO Gossip Girl (ex. MBISS Am GCHB/Can GCH. Mephisto N Toprank Oooh LaLa) showed at the Vancouver Kennel Club shows in Ridgefield, WA, USA with her breeder owner handler Cheryl Emerson (Top Knotch Boxers). On Saturday Lively went Select under judge Mr. Robert Robinson to complete her NEW GRAND CHAMPION title and went on to win Owner Handled Group 1 under Ms. Judith Brown! On Sunday Lively won Best of Breed and Owner Handler Group 3 under judge Mr. Bruce Schwartz. Lively is co-bred by Michelle Yeadon (Mephisto Kennels).

-28/29/30- our Rat Terrier boy, "Marvin" - CH Clarity's Kaboom of Summer, RATI SD-S-SP won Best of Breed all three days under judges Ms. Rosemary Shoreman, Ms. Carol Graham and Ms. Joyce Love owner-handled by me at the Battle River Canine Association shows in Camrose, Alberta, Canada.  Marvin was bred by Rachel Jesse (Clarity Kennels).

-22/23- I had a fun & successful weekend with BOTH my dogs at the Mojave Dog Sports SDDA (Sporting Detection Dogs Association) trial under judge Ryan-Ann King.
My Rat Terrier, Marvin was entered in the Started class for the very first time and he achieved his Started title with a Special designation because he qualified in ALL THREE components (Containers, Interiors & Exteriors) at the same trial!  And extra exciting is that he completed his Interior search in 15 seconds (he was allowed 5 minutes to complete the search) & Interiors has been the most difficult for him! Marvin was 2nd in a class of 11 dogs at just 13 months of age!
Marvin is now known as BPISS CH Clarity's Kaboom of Summer, RATI SD-S-SP. Marvin was bred by Rachel Jesse
