December

-29/30- Congratulations to TWO littermates sired by "Mr. Spock" and out of Am CH. Regal's Full of Tender Grace, CD RE NAP AXP NFP EAS NCC O-EJS TGN WVN HPO CGC on their success in AGILITY!  "Celia" picked up 4 Qs, her Novice Jumper title (NJC) and her Open Tunnelers title (TN-O) on  Sunday then on Monday she Q'd FIVE times: 2X in Regular, 2X in Open Touch N Go and 1X in Jumpers! "Celia" is now known as CedarLin's Graceful Beginnings NAC TG-N TN-O CSL-R CSL-H NNC ! "Silas" ran really nice and got a Regular Q on Sunday, then on Monday Silas Q'd to get his Novice Standard title (NAC) and is now known as CedarLin's Regal Beginnings, RN NAC TN-N CL1-R CL1-H CGC! 
This past year "Silas" earned his CPE CL1-H, NADAC TN-N and NAC and his birch ORT. "Celia" earned her CPE CSL1-H, CSL1-R, NADAC TN-N, TN-O, TG-N, NAC, NJC, UN Novice containers title NNC and a NACSW birch ORT. Looking forward to all the awesome things these littermates will do in 2014!
These kids are both bred, owned, trained and handled by Becky Gilchrist (CedarLin Boxers). WAY TO GO! What a family!

-13- Friday the 13th brought Good Luck to SUMMER Boxers!! a "Dash Riprock" became a NEW AMERICAN SIRE OF MERIT today with his daughter  "Cher" - Can CH. Oakridge's The Beat Goes On of Summer (ex. Am/Can CH. DC's Turn On The Sunshine) winning a 3-pt MAJOR Winners Bitch and BEST of WINNERS and finishing her NEW AMERICAN CHAMPION title all OWNER HANDLED by Kelli Smith (Wild Thing Boxers) under judge Ms. Eva Berg at the Medina Kennel Club show in Cleveland, OH, USA ! "Cher is bred and co-owned by Sharon Davis (OakRidge Boxers) and co-bred Donna Schafer.  Cher is the 7th American Champion for her sire "Dash Riprock" and the 2nd for her dam "Ccetta" from a litter of two! WAY TO GO Cher and Kelli! HUGE CONGRATULATIONS!

"Dash Riprock" is the SECOND American/Canadian Producer of Merit for his dam "Stella" and the SEVENTH for his sire "Conner".  We are so proud of this boy now known as "Am/Can CH. Summer's Dash Riprock,  Am/Can SOM"

 at the Upstate New York Boxer Club Specialty OWNER HANDLED by Kelli Smith (Wild Thing Boxers) under judge Ms. Ruth Zimmerman in Syracuse, NY, USA ! "Cher" is bred and co-owned by Sharon Davis (OakRidge Boxers) and co-bred Donna Schafer.  Cher needs one more Major to finish her American Championship! WAHOO! HUGE Congratulations on your great weekend with your girl Kelli!

-16-  Two "Mr. Spock" kids, littermates, out of Can CH. Cair Paravel's Ashbrook Baby, CGN did some winning on both sides of the border!
In Canada, a plain brindle natural eared daughter,  "Tango" - Zwilling N CairParavels Dance won Winners Female and Best of Winners for 2 points to become a NEW CANADIAN CHAMPION under judge Ms. Wendy Schira handled by Pamela Skanes at the Newfoundland Kennel Club show in St. John's, Newfoundland! "Tango" is the SECOND Champion for her dam, SECOND homebred Champion for Zwilling Boxers and Canadian Champion # 12 for her sire "Mr. Spock"! HUGE CONGRATULATIONS!!! "Tango" is owned by Michael Griffin and co-owned by her breeders Todd and Dena Scott (Zwilling Boxers). 

In the USA, "Maverick" - Can CH. Zwilling's TopGun at WildThing was the Grand Sweepstakes Winners under Breeder judge Ms. Jennifer Walker at the Boxer Club of Western New York Specialty Owner handled by Kelli Smith (Wild Thing Boxers)!  Way To Go Team Maverick! "Maverick" is co-owned by Kelli's parents Karen & Nate Kirk.

-15/16-  Our plain brindle "Dash Riprock" son  "Journey" - DC's Don't Stop Believin' In Summer (ex. Am/Can CH. DC's Precious Gem of Shadigee, CGC) went Reserve Winners Dog on Friday under judge Mr. Neville Hodgkins at the Greater Philadelphia Dog Fanciers Association. Then today, "Journey" won Winners Dog and Best of Winners for 1 point under judge Mr. Carl Gomes handled by Dan Buchwald (Winners Dog) and Hal Burton (Best of Winners) at the Kennel Club of Philadelphia shows in Oaks, PA , USA! "Journey" is owned & loved by Darlene Beard (Tre Ragazze Boxers), and co-owned by her daughter Lori Goodwin, his breeder Donna Schafer (DC Boxers) and myself. "Journey" now has 9 points and a Specialty Major RWD towards his American Championship! Congratulations!

-9/10- a "Mr. Spock" son "Jesse" - TADD's Forever in Rhinestones (ex. Texan n'TADD's Copacabana) won a Winners Dog, Best of Winners and BEST of BREED over TWO Specials for 2-points on Saturday under judge Ms. Rita Rynder and Winners Dog and Best of Opposite Sex for 1-point on Sunday under judge Mr. Roger Hartinger at the Coulee Kennel Club shows in Winona, MN, USA handled by his best friend Tina Halverson! "Jesse" is bred and owned by Tom & Donna Doane (TADD Boxers). WAY TO GO! CONGRATULATIONS!! "Jesse" now has 12 points with BOTH Majors towards his American Championship!

 -2- a  "Mr. Spock" daughter "Brillante" - Indigo's Dolce & Gabanna On Madison Ave (ex. Am CH.  Indigo's Luck Be A Lady V Turo) won Winners Female & Best of Winners under judge Mr. William Byrne for 5-points to become a NEW CANADIAN CHAMPION Owner handled by Tammy Ranta (Briante Boxers) at the Red Deer & District Kennel Club show in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada!  "Brillante" is Canadian Champion # 11 for her sire "Mr. Spock".  "Brillante" was bred by Lynn Cooch and Diane Monson (Indigo Boxers). -28- A "Mr. Spock" daughter "Paris" - Can CH. Bendi's Loving Paris In The Summer, CGN SJATD (ex. Can.CH. Zaracon's Lovin' Spoonful, CGN SJATD) passed her Child Therapy test with flying colours! "Paris" was a Rock Star! "Paris" & her breeder/owner Sally Dale (Bendi Boxers) hope to get a placement reading in the local school and library. WAY TO GO! Congratulations! We are so proud of you!

-25/27- a "Mr. Spock" daughter "Brillante" - Indigo's Dolce & Gabanna On Madison Ave (ex. Am CH.  Indigo's Luck Be A Lady V Turo) went Reserve Winners Female, under judge Dr. Michael Woods on Friday and Best Puppy In Breed under judge Mr. Christian Gomez (Colombia) on Sunday owner handled by Tammy Ranta (Briante Boxers) at the Battle River Canine Association shows in Camrose, Alberta, Canada.  "Brillante" was bred by Lynn Cooch and Diane Monson (Indigo Boxers).

-20- a "Mr. Spock" daughter  "Abby" - CH Cedarlin's Absolutely Fetching, CD BN RA CGC HIC (ex. Am CH Regal's Full of Ten Der Grace CD RE AJP NFP EAS O-EJS NCC TNS-E WV-N TG-N HP-O CGC) and her owner Joyce Whittal completed Abby's Rally Advanced B title! "Abby" was bred by Becky Gilchrist (CedarLin Boxers). CONGRATULATIONS!!

 -5/6- a "Mr. Spock" daughter  "Abby" - CH Cedarlin's Absolutely Fetching, CD RN BN CGC HIC (ex. Am CH Regal's Full of Ten Der Grace CD RE AJP NFP EAS O-EJS NCC TNS-E WV-N TG-N HP-O CGC) and her owner Joyce Whittal completed qualified for TWO legs in Rally Advanced B with a High In Class on Sunday! On Friday in Show #1 "Brillante" - Indigo's Dolce & Gabanna On Madison Ave (ex. Am CH.  Indigo's Luck Be A Lady V Turo) went Reserve Winners Female and Best Puppy in Breed under judge Ms. Phyllis Pancel and in Show #5 on Sunday "Brillante" won Winners Female, Best of Winners, Best of Opposite Sex and Best Puppy in Breed for 3 points! "Brillante" was Owner handled by Tammy Ranta (Briante Boxers). 

On Saturday in Show #3, natural eared "Karma" - Indigo Victoria's Secret On Madison (ex. Am CH.  Indigo's Luck Be A Lady V Turo), litter sister to Brillante, won Winners Female and Best of Winners for 3 points under BREEDER judge Mr. Jack Ireland Owner handled by Michelle Whitehead. "Karma" and "Brillante" were both in the 9-12 months class and bred by Lynn Cooch and Diane Monson (Indigo Boxers).

On Friday in Show #2, on Saturday in Show #3 and #4 and on Sunday in Show #5 and #6, natural eared "Joshua" - Zwilling N CairPairavels Summer (ex. Can CH. Cair Paravel's Ashbrook Baby) went Reserve Winners Dog from the 12-18 months class and 7 month old litter sister (from a repeat breeding), natural eared "Navaeh"  - Zwilling's Born Superstar won Winners Female, Best of Opposite Sex (Show #2) and Best Puppy in Breed for 2 points in Show #2 (judge: Ms. Phyllis Pancel) and #4 (judge: Mr. Rick Fehler) and went Reserve Winners Female and Best Puppy in Breed on Sunday in Show #6 under judge Ms. Letitia Bett all from the 6-9 months class!  "Joshua and "Navaeh" were both Breeder Owner handled by Dena Scott (Zwilling Boxers) under judge Ms. Bonnie Derry, Mr. Rick Fehler and breeder judge Mr. Jack Ireland.

-21/22-  After taking the summer off,  our plain brindle "Dash Riprock" son  "Journey" - DC's Don't Stop Believin' In Summer (ex. Am/Can CH. DC's Precious Gem of Shadigee, CGC) won Winners Dog for 2 points, his first day back in the ring, under judge Ms. Nancy Russell. Then on Sunday, "Journey" won Winners Dog again for 1 point under Breeder judge Mr. Larry Sinclair handled by Dan Buchwald at the Butler County Kennel Club shows in Prospect, PA , USA! "Journey" is owned & loved by Darlene Beard (Tre Ragazze Boxers), and co-owned by her daughter Lori Goodwin, his breeder Donna Schafer (DC Boxers) and myself. "Journey" now has 8 points and a Specialty Major RWD towards his American Championship! WAY TO GO Journey! Congratulations!

-14/15- Our "Mr. Spock" daughter "GiGi" - Am/Can CH. JoCar's Glamour Girl of Summer, CD HIC  (ex. Am CH. ScenicVu's Iridescence, DOMC) gained 4 points towards her Canadian Grand Champion title this past weekend and her baby boy "Maynard"- Summer's Mantra won TWO Best Baby Puppy in Breed his very first weekend in the show ring at 3.5 months of age! "Maynard" is bred and owned by us and sired by our homebred "Dash Riprock" - Am/Can CH Summer's Dash Riprock , SOMC. Both "GiGi" and her little son "Maynard" were Owner handled by me! LOVE my kids!!!

-13- a "Mr. Spock" son "Jesse" - TADD's Forever in Rhinestones (ex. Texan n'TADD's Copacabana) won a 4-pt MAJOR SPECIALTY Winners Dog handled by Sherry Canciamille at the at the East Tennessee Boxer Club Specialty in East Ridge, TN, USA under judge Ms. Susan Caitlin!  "Jesse" is bred and owned by Tom & Donna Doane (TADD Boxers). Both kids were Owner handled by Kelli Smith (Wild Thing Boxers).  "Maverick" is co-owned by Kelli's parents Karen & Nate Kirk and bred by Dr. Todd & Dena Scott (Zwilling Boxers) and Deborah Gillis. "Addey" was bred by Carol Novak (JoCar Boxers).

In Canada, "Tango" - Zwilling N CairParavels Dance won Winners Female and Best of Winners for 1 point under judge Ms. Linda Millman handled by Pamela Skanes at the Conception Bay Kennel Club show in Harbour Grace, Newfoundland!
"Maverick" is co-owned by Kelli's parents Karen & Nate Kirk and "Tango" is owned by Michael Griffin and co-owned by her breeders Todd and Dena Scott.

Am CH.  Indigo's Luck Be A Lady V Turo) won Winners Dog for his first point from the 6-9 months class under judge Mr. Jim Owens on Saturday and Reserve Winners Dog on Sunday under judge Ms. Lisa DeRoulet Breeder Owner handled by Lynn Cooch (Indigo Boxers) at the St. Croix Valley Kennel Club show in Lake Elmo, MN, USA.  "Jimmy Choo" is co-bred and owned by Diane Monson (Indigo Boxers).  WAY TO GO Jimmy Choo & Lynn!!

At this same show, a plain "Dash Riprock" son "Dakota" - DC's Stones Throw to Summer (ex. Am/Can CH. DC's Precious Gem of Shadigee, CGC) went Reserve Winners Dog Breeder Owner handled by Donna Schafer (DC Boxers) on Saturday. "Dakota" is owned by the Weber family in New York, bred & co-owned by Donna Schafer (DC Boxers) and co-owned by me.
"Charlie"  - Zwilling's Struttin' Her Stuff (a repeat breeding of "Maverick") went Reserve Winners Female on both Saturday and Sunday (judge: Ms. Sandy Alexander) at her very first shows at just 6 months of age also handled by Kelli at the St. Catherines & District Kennel & Obedience Club shows in Welland, ON, Canada!

-8/9- a natural-eared "Mr. Spock" son, "Carter" - Gentry's Set To Stun (ex. Am/Int'l CH. Reo's Miss Hershey's Kiss) went Reserve Winners Dog to a 4-point Major on Friday under judge Ms. Barbara Dempsey Alderman at the Hoosier Kennel Club show. Then on Saturday, "Carter" won a 4-point MAJOR Winners Dog under judge Ms. KeKe Kahn at the Central Indiana Kennel Club show handled by Sherry Canciamille in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA.  "Carter" is owned by Lance Melnichenko and bred by Paula Vandervoort (Gentry Boxers).  WAY TO GO Carter & Sherry! Carter now needs just five single points to complete his American Championship!

-19 - A "Mr. Spock" son, "Sabastian" - Mi-T's Top Secret Enterprise (ex. Mi-T's I'm A Little Rascal) went Reserve Winners Dog to a 3-pt Major under judge Ms.Peggy Beisel-McIlwaine at the Dog Fanciers Association of Oregon show in Portland, OR, USA handled by Naomi Gibbs. "Sabastian" is owned by Terri Dunning (Alpine Boxers) and co-owned by his breeders Terri & Randy Pope (Mi-T Boxers).  WAY TO GO Sabastian!!!

-19- Congratulations to TWO littermates sired by "Mr. Spock" and out of Am CH. Regal's Full of Tender Grace, CD RE NAP AXP NFP EAS NCC O-EJS TGN WVN HPO CGC on their NEW AGILITY titles,  "Celia" - CedarLin's Graceful Beginnings on her first title, she earned her CPE agility level 1 Handler title (CSL1-H) which requires a leg in Jumpers and Colors! Not to be outdone, "Silas" - CedarLin's Regal Beginnings, RN CLR-1 CGC earned his Handlers title (CL1-H) which is his second CPE title! These kids are both bred, owned, trained and handled by Becky Gilchrist (CedarLin Boxers). WAY TO GO! What a family!

Cair Paravel's Ashbrook Baby, CGN) went Reserve Winners Dog OWNER HANDLED by Kelli Smith (Wild Thing Boxers) at the tender age of 7 months at the Kennel Club of Buffalo show in Hamburg, NY, USA under judge Mr. James Noe! "Maverick" is co-owned by Kelli's parents Karen & Nate Kirk and bred by Dr. Todd & Dena Scott (Zwilling Boxers) and Deborah Gillis. What a wonderful start to this young boy's career!

-12- a "Mr. Spock" daughter "Bella" - Zwilling's Little Bitta Sugar (ex. Can CH. Cair Paravel's Ashbrook Baby) passed Level II of her Pet Therapy course at 7 months of age with her owner Erin Tabone Bell! One more level to go and Bella will be a certified Pet Therapy dog! "Bella"was bred by Dena & Dr.Todd Scott (Zwilling Boxers). WAY TO GO!!
